Things learned around the henhouse...
-three roosters do not provide for henhouse harmony...
-you can get used to the crowing at all hours...mostly...
-chickens are happy with fresh water, feed, and safety from racoons...
-there really is one rooster who rules the roost...
-being the third rooster on the totem pole is worse than having two very mean older brothers...
-sooner or later someone has got to clean up the mess...
-chickens are truly creatures of habit...
-getting "free baby chicks" does not mean raising chickens is profitable...
